New & Used Donations

Villa Rosa is fortunate to be surrounded by a supportive Winnipeg community that donates a variety of necessary items that we pass on free of charge to our residents and babies.

 

We do not have the capability to pick up donations, but are happy to receive them between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. weekdays. Unfortunately we can no longer accept donations evenings and weekends unless you call ahead so we can be prepared. We often receive so many after hours donations that our entranceway is blocked and it can be a fire hazard!

 

We appreciate all that is donated but are trying to manage the donations in the safest way possible. We always can use items such as:

ITEMS WE NEED RIGHT NOW:

  • Size 5 and 6 diapers

  • Women's deodorant

  • New baby clothes up to 24 months (Newborn in high demand)

  • Cuddly wraps and soft cloth baby carriers

  • Bathmats

  • New bath towels and hand towels

  • Hairbrushes

  • Hand and body lotion

  • Conditioner

  • Sandals and slippers

ITEMS WE HAPPILY ACCEPT:

  • Gently used baby clothes (sizes 0 - 24 months)

  • Gently used maternity clothes (larger sizes in high demand)

  • ​New hand towels

  • New face cloths

  • New bed sheets:

    • Crib sheets​

    • Twin sheets

    • Queen sheets

  • Laundry baskets

  • Housecoats

  • Feminine hygiene products

  • Formula

  • Diapers - all sizes

  • Reusable water bottles

We also, on occasion, gladly accept gently used furniture to pass on to our residents moving out into the community. However, as we do not have a large amount of storage space, please call ahead to (204) 786-5741 ext 226 to make arrangements. We often try to have furniture delivered right to the resident's new apartment on moving day, so that storage is not an issue.
